Brisbanenites (and those visitors fortunate enough to be in 'the know') are spoilt with the emergance of another trendy laneway bar! The latest venture of the brother’s behind Embassy Bar have opened a hidden gem in the laneway of Elizabeth and Edward Street, Kitchen Door at Embassy Lane.
If you happen to be staying at The Manor Apartment Hotel then you are very lucky as this little gem is located nice and close. Find the Embassy sign and walk down the adjoining Embassy Lane to discover an industrialized cafe. The space is decorated with wall-to-wall art, neon exposed ceiling pipes and fairy lights.
You can sip on a fresh cup of Toby’s Estate Sustainability and Espresso Rico coffee blends, or select one of the baked goods such as gourmet fruit loaf, banana bread, freshly baked muffins and croissants.
For lunch, the Embassy chef’s serve up toasted ham, gruyere and Dijon mustard sandwich, classic fetta, mint and watercress on sourdough, and a massaman beef cheek and potato curry.
Open Monday - Friday 6.30am - 3pm & Saturday 8am - 2pm.
