Train

Central railway station is only 200m from the Manor Apartments and is a great way to find your way around the city (to Southbank, Brisbane Convention Centre, Brisbane Entertainment Centre, Suncorp Stadium etc) – and the fastest way to and from the airport.

Bus - FREE CITY LOOP

Stopping at several key destinations, the Loop (Red Bus) is a free service that provides a convenient way to get around Brisbane's central business district.

The Loop may be accessed throughout the city centre at bus stops that display the distinctive red signposts, including:

Central Station
City Botanic Gardens
City Hall
Eagle Street Pier
Government Precinct
King George Square
Queen Street Mall
Queensland University of Technology
Riverside Centre
Stamford Plaza
Wharf St

The Loop service connects with the rail system at Central Station and can be used to access the CityCat or City Ferry Service at QUT Gardens Point campus, the Riverside Centre or Eagle Street Pier.

Biking

CityCycle bike hire opens in Brisbane in October with a bike station located at the front of the hotel.

They will provide a:

Up to 2000 distinctive grey and yellow bikes, with a handy basket on the front so you can’t miss them.

Casual subscriber 1 day $11.00 Minimum age: 17 years

CityCycle will operate between 5am and 10pm, 7 days a week, although bikes can be returned to any station 24 hours a day. By law, all riders must wear a helmet. Helmets are available for hire from reception.
